Levi Parsons letters, 1811-1822.

Graduates of the Middlebury College class of 1814, Levi Parsons and Pliny Fisk were ordained (Parsons in 1817; Fisk in 1818), and sailed as missionaries to Palestine in 1819. Parsons became ill and died in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1822 and Fisk died in Syria in 1825. The collection consists of letters from Levi Parsons to his family, both from college and from the Middle East.
